Its fall again, soft breeze blowing from the west
Waking prairies in the plains kissing coast to coast
Meandering rivers retreating and slimming down
Howling coyotes for the last time running around
In my sky, it’s fall again.
Snow packed mountains looking even bolder
Crispier they look as they approach colder
Welcoming the fresh blankets of puffy snow
Saying goodbye to the warm sun and its rainbow
In my sky, it’s fall again.
Marigold and tulips bowing down to touch grass
Red and pink valley of color turning mellow brass
Falling leaves from the giant oaks greeting passer by
With the hope to rejuvenate again, running too high
Its fall again, in my sky.
Busy streets thinning down as it’s darkening early
Dampier the nights get while muggier it gets slowly
Thirsty cactus pulling the fresh drops of honey dew
The nature setting up for the fall again fresh and new
Mercy of nature about to begin
